Azerbaijan-Photo: Different trees in Baku

02 Dec

The capital of Azerbaijan is looking better and better. Well, not all of it, but in the most visible places it is just that. I keep on reading in the press about “over 100 000 new trees being planted” here and there. Nice, really nice. Trees, that’s definately something that should be planted everywhere.

So, couple of days ago, I stumbled on a very nice photo gallery of various trees planted in Baku. Not like its something unusual, yet we often dont even notice the real beauty that trees posess. On the pictures, however, its clearly visible. Take a look at the shots below: some were shot on the Baku boulevard, some near the Icheri Sheher, and some just on the street side.

Wow, really different tree cuts eh! Wish there were some like that in my city, too… we do get lots of old, native trees, but none as criative as those. Well, it’s always a pleasure visiting ur blog.
